Design Review Board

The Design Review Board was established by City ordinance (OMC Chapter 18.76) to apply design review requirements and guidelines in the review of public and private projects throughout the City and the Olympia urban growth area.

• Spencer Daniels - Chair - Heritage Commission member, term ends 2010
• Duane Edwards - landscape architect, term ends 2011
• Joan "Katie" Egland Cox - business development, term ends 2012
• Robert Findlay - architect, term ends 2011
• David Goularte - citizen-at-large, term ends 2013
• Dwight Hollar - citizen-at-large, term ends 2011
• Jane Laclergue - business and development, term ends 2013
• Thomas Muller - Planning Commission member, term ends 2012

Membership Criteria
Nine members as follows:

• Two (2) architects
• Five (5) citizens-at-large
• One (1) Planning Commission member
• One (1) Heritage Commission member

Term of Appointment
3 years, except one (1) year for Planning Commission and Heritage Commission representatives

Meeting Date, Time, Place
Unless otherwise noticed, meetings are semi-monthly on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays, 6:30 p.m., at the City Council Chambers (unless otherwise noticed), 900 Plum Street SE, except for the month of November when meetings are on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays and the month of December when a meeting is on the 2nd Thursday only.
